Toni Vacker has been involved in Real Estate since 1985. With a resume that includes working with some of the top real estate management companies in Houston, TX. For the past 32 years she has worked in the industry. She began her career in Property Management working her way up through the trenches, from onsite Leasing, Assistant Manager, Manager, Regional Asset Manager, Supervisor, Marketing Director, Vice President to ultimately forming an exclusive Real Estate Management Company (Gulf Coast Concierge) in Galveston TX. Toni Vacker has joined Leopold & Strahan Realty Group. We opened an office on the Island in November 2017. I continue to be Top Producer with Leopold and Strahan Realty Group. The cornerstone of our new business is based on Customer Service and there is no property too big or small for TONI VACKER to assist you with.

I was born in Germany and have lived all over the world, being the daughter of an Air Force Officer. I chose to make Galveston my home. I lived in Sea Isle briefly in 1996, then moved to Atlanta, Georgia for the next 13 years. In 2009, I received my bachelor's degree in Film/Video with a minor in English at Georgia State University. I worked as a paralegal/legal assistant for the duration in Atlanta. I returned to Galveston Island, specifically Jamaica Beach, in January 2010. After bartending for nearly 10 years, I decided to finish/update my real estate classes, which I completed in 1996 in Texas. At the time, I didn't sit for the exam to obtain my license as I moved to Georgia. I am enjoying my 5th year as a Realtor at Galveston Island Real Estate. I am currently taking classes to become a broker. I hope to finish by the end of 2023. Besides working as a Realtor, I am in the process of writing a screenplay. I enjoy playing piano, guitar & drums in my 'free' time. I am involved in the community through the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the Galveston Citizens Police Alumni Association (GCPAA), as Sergeant at Arms.

Beginning as a Realtor in August 1967, and receiving my Brokers license in August of 1972. Prior to receiving my real estate license, I worked in the title Industry as a runner, an abstractor, an examiner and then closer (today referred to as an escrow officer.) The title business led to my interest in real estate. Residential, as well as commercial, are my areas of expertise. I recently received the designation of REALTOR EMERITUS from the National Association of REALTORS for having served over 40 years to our industry.I have been a past President of the Galveston Association of REALTORS, served on various committees, including Professional Standards, Education , MLS and Secretary of the Board of Directors. Voted Best REALTOR in Galveston in 2003 by the Galveston County Daily News . I was an adjunct instructor in real estate for 17 years at Galveston College. Taught many courses in different areas of our business. I participated in several developments of historical properties on the island as well as resort properties on the west end beach and bay areas. Recently honored by my colleague's with the Golden Heart Award for being the most helpful in our office to other agents!

Even though technology is a major force in our industry today, I still believe that personal service one-on-one or face-to-face with our clients, is the best way to build lasting relationships.
