Top 7 Best Cleaning Products To Get Your Home "Show Ready"

Here is a Texas Realtors advice regarding cleaning products to get your home "Show Ready."

When preparing your home for sale in Texas, there is a lot to do, and one of the most affordable things you can do is getting your home cleaned. With so many products on the market today, it is hard to know which ones actually work.

I personally am not a clean fannatick, however, when I do clean, I like for the product to do what it says it does. Here are my top seven favorite cleaning products:

Zep Acidic Toilet Bowl Cleaner - sold at Home Depot and Lowes. I gave this at a white elephant Christmas party once at my Church because we were suppose to bring something from the house we could not live without - including cleaning products. I was so embarrassed to bring this, but, when I told the ladies how great this product works and how it continues to clean even after the cleaning, then everyone wanted it!

Bleach - Sold at your local grocery store, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. This product is very important especially if you have pets. I had a professional who did carpet and tile cleaning for me once and he highly recommended using diluted bleach and water on your tile floors and also some laminate flooring. He said animals sweat and they leave their dander on the floors. The one thing that gets rid of it is a diluted bleach and water combination. He was trying to save me money, but I have used this for years now and it works!

Easy Off Oven Cleaner & a Razor Blade - Sold at Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Ace Hardware, Grocery Stores, etc. Did you know you can spray this on your cooktop as well as inside the oven? I have used this along with a razor blade to clean flat stove tops and it is easy!

Scrubbing Bubbles - Sold at Home Depot and Lowes, possibly grocery stores and Walmart. This product is amazing on Soap Scum, and just cleaning the tub in general. You just spray a little on and come back five minutes or so later, wipe it down with a sponge and voila! It is clean. For heavier stains repeat!

Zep Grout Cleaner - Sold at Home Depot or Lowes. This stuff gets the job done! Be careful when using because it will peel the skin off of your feet if you walk barefoot on it! This is the best grout cleaner I have found.

Stainless Steel Cleaner - Sold at Lowes. This is a "Must Have" for the kitchen and any other areas of your home where you have stainless steel. One of the most loved places in the home is the kitchen and if you have to spend a few extra dollars to make it shine, it will be a great return on your investment!

Windex - Sold everywhere! This is one of my all time favorites and we always have Windex around the house. Making sure windows and mirrors are clean is a plus. Also any glass top furniture you have as well.

Do you want to know an easy way to clean your faux wood or wood blinds? Take a damp cloth, or paper towel and just go diagonally and wipe it down. This is a fast and easy way to clean blinds, if you don't have a special brush to wipe them down.

I hope these cleaning tips help and it's not just for home selling. These products are a year round must haves!
