Are you tired of renting, or has the idea of having a place to call your own been a lifelong aspiration? Well, I'm here to tell you that I want to help you achieve that dream! You see, I've been in your shoes before. I've experienced the uncertainty and excitement that comes with buying a home. It's a significant decision, one that can feel a little scary at times. Back when I was going through the process of buying my own home, I felt the same way you might be feeling right now. I wanted to make sure I understood every step of the process, and most importantly, I didn't want to feel taken advantage of. So today I want to share an overview of the home buying process.

Step 1. Meet in person!

I would love to get to know you. We are going on this journey together and so I want to know your aspirations, your preferences, and your needs so we can find that perfect place for you to call home.

Step 2. Get Pre-approved!

Getting pre-approved is an essential early step that will set the foundation for your home buying journey. It allows you to determine your buying price range with confidence, ensuring you focus your search on homes within your budget. You will also need a pre-approval letter when you are ready to put in an offer to show the seller that you are a serious buyer.

Step 3. The house hunt!

Now it is time for the fun part of the journey.I will send you listings that match the criteria we discussed and the budget determined after speaking to a lender. Clear communication is so important during this time. I encourage you to give feedback if what you do like and don't like about the properties

Step 4. Schedule showings and visit open houses.

This is like an extension to step 3. But now we will tour different properties, we'll discuss what features you love and what aspects might not align with your vision of a dream home.

Step 5. Write an offer!

You've found the perfect home. We will write an offer and it will be presented to the seller. And while everyone loves getting their offer accepted right away, the seller could come back to us with a counter offer, or reject your initial offer all together.

Step 6. Offer was accepted!

Now we go through the process of getting inspections, an appraisal, and making sure the title is clear. The appraisal guarantees that the price of the property matches the condition of the property while the inspection makes sure that everything in the home is functioning properly and there are no major issues inside. The title refers to the legal ownership of the property, and a clear title means that there are no outstanding claims, liens, or legal issues that could potentially affect your ownership rights.

Step 7. It’s time to close!

Closing is the final step in the home buying process where all the necessary documents are signed, and ownership of the property is officially transferred from the seller to the buyer.

Step 8. Celebrate!

You are now a home owner!

I'm passionate about assisting people like you to comprehend the process, navigate the potential challenges, and ultimately reach your goals of becoming a proud homeowner. The road to homeownership may have its twists and turns, but with the right guidance and support, it can be a smooth and exciting journey. So, if you're ready to take that step, if you're eager to turn that dream of homeownership into a reality, then I am absolutely thrilled to be by your side! I can't wait to help you on this exciting journey!
